A Brave Fight for Charity
Our colleague Lee Watson is gallantly taking part in a White Collar Boxing Match to raise money for a very special local charity which is personal to him – Ben Elliot’s Footsteps Appeal.
Ben Elliot’s Footsteps Appeal was initially set up to raise funds which were used to send 5 year old Ben Elliot, who suffers with Cerebral Palsy, for a life changing operation in America.
A staggering £40,000 was raised in a variety of fund-raising events and Ben received his operation which is hoped to enable Ben to be mobile.
Now the real hard work starts for Ben, as he begins the enormous task of learning to walk.
